Pacific Shizen Aikido
“We train in hopes of being of some use, however small our role may be, in the task of bringing peace to mankind around the world.”
Morihei Ueshiba
Pacific Shizen Aikido is a non-profit society providing education in Aikido, As well we aim to bring the spirit of Aikido in community service.
Aikido is a dynamic martial art emphasizing harmony and resolution of conflict. Aikido movements are natural and simple, and their effectiveness is derived from timing and positioning rather than from physical strength and power. Classes are non-competitive, mutually supportive and fun! With regular practice we notice increased stamina, flexibility, self-confidence, and a feeling of well-being.
Our dojo is affiliated with Aikido Kenkyukai International under Yoshinobu Takeda Shihan, which in turn is affiliated with Honbu Dojo, Tokyo.
