Pacific Shizen Aikido

We train in hopes of being of some use, however small our role may be, in the task of bringing peace to mankind around the world.”

Morihei Ueshiba

We offer classes in Aikido and aim to bring the spirit of Aikido in community service.

Aikido is a dynamic martial art emphasizing harmony and self-control. In Aikido we learn to neutralize an attacker’s energy instead of inflicting harm, by blending with the force and leading it in a smooth spiral motion. Aikido movements are natural and simple, and their effectiveness is derived from timing and positioning rather than from physical strength and power.  With regular practice we notice increased flexibility, physical tone, and ease in our mind and movements.

You are welcome to come and watch our classes for children and adults, or try out a class for free!

Introductory classes are ongoing on Monday evenings.
